David Alphonso is a registered intern with the state of Florida. He has received his Master of Education in Counselor Education, with a concentration in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, and his Educational Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University.  He has experience working for both the Agency for Persons with Disabilities and a university counseling center. His interests include working with young adults and leading both process and skills-based groups. His goal is to integrate his faith-based background with his skills in cognitive behavioral therapy.
